THANKS AND THANKS

First of all, I want to thank all of you who helped us with data for our new FER Top Dealer listings. The data will appear in our June issue, which you should receive any day. I especially want to thank the 31 brave dealers and two broadliners that provided us with independent verification of their information. As we’ve said all along, these companies receive enhanced coverage in the article, including detailed listings of their service offerings. We know our nearly 20,000 large operator and consultant recipients will find these details useful as they evaluate potential distribution partners. But we also thank all the dealers that participated in any way, even if it was just to call or write back, say hello and tell us “not this time.” We hope that when you see what we did with the information, you’ll find it to your advantage to participate next year. Second, I want to thank those dealers that came to the Kitchen Innovations reception that we helped sponsor at the recent National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago. It was fun to see you all and I hope you found the exhibits stimulating. The wave of innovation by E&S manufacturers is quite remarkable, especially given that all of this technological development continued in spite of the Great Foodservice Recession. I’m glad you were able to see some of it. If you missed it, our editors will detail all the KI recipients in July’s FER.
