Must-Read: List Of High-Efficiency Toilets Out
Whodunnit aficionados no doubt would prefer a Mike Sherer mystery novel, but if you're serious about water conservation, you need to check out the newly released Unified North American Requirement list of high-efficiency toilets and ultra low-flush toilets.
The list identifies toilets that are efficient and perform well, according to the Alliance for Water Efficiency, and now includes 187 tested HETs. Of those, 142 qualify for the EPA's new WaterSense program, which is similar to the familiar Energy Star program.
To see the lists and read more about testing for the program, go to www.allianceforwaterefficiency.org/MaP/index.html.
