Vollrath Opens European Headquarters

The Vollrath Co. kicked off the new year by inaugurating its new European base, a wholly owned subsidiary in Rijen, Netherlands. CEO Paul Bartelt said the move would help further Vollrath’s growth and expansion into the European market, where the 137-year-old manufacturer has seen consistent growth.

The Sheboygan, Wis., company’s new Dutch outpost opened Jan. 1. All European customer service, sales support, and inventory will be managed from the new location.

“Since Vollrath entered the European market in 1985, we’ve continued to develop and expand our presence due to the market’s demand for high quality foodservice products,” said Bartelt. “Opening Vollrath Europe will help to further support our growing customer base, allowing us to provide commercial foodservice solutions that reduce operating costs and increase revenues for our customers.”

Vollrath Europe is located at B.V. Beneluxbaan 7, 5121, Rijen, Netherlands.
