Doug Goare has been named president of McDONALD’S EUROPE. Goare, currently exec.v.p.-McDonald’s Global Supply Chain and Real Estate Development, succeeds Steve Easterbrook, who is joining Gondola Group as CEO of the Pizza Express chain. Goare will oversee more than 7,000 restaurants in 40 European countries. Jose Armario, current group president of McDonald’s Canada and Latin America, assumes Goare’s previous post; he also will oversee store development and global franchising.
