Go anywhere in the world and you'll find a foodservice exhibition. Go to these particular exhibitions and you'll find the best in international equipment development and technology.

If sourcing or supplying foodservice equipment outside your home country is a top priority, international trade shows are your key to education, networking and sales. To help you navigate the many international events slated for 2008, we offer this list of key events you should consider attending.

Listed below you'll find details about must-see shows in seven countries, including China, Germany, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.

Feb. 17-21, 2008
ExCeL Exhibition Center
London, England
When you visit Hotelympia you'll find more than 250 catering equipment suppliers and a brand new feature: the Sustainable Futures Seminars. These sessions will review what the foodservice industry is doing to ensure a socially responsible future.

Dubai Int'l. Exhibition and Convention Centre
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Franchise development in the Middle East is advancing rapidly, according to Gulfood organizer Dubai World Trade Centre. If you're looking for a piece of the market, you'll be among more than 37,000 visits expected at this year's Dubai show.

March 7-12, 2008
Hamburg Exhibition Centre
Hamburg, Germany
Visit the two halls for Kitchen Machinery and Equipment when you attend Hamburg's March show. You'll be among 100,000 expected attendees viewing products from 1,000 exhibitors, says organizer Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH.

April 1-4, 2008
Shanghai New Int'l. Expo Center
Shanghai, China
Hotelex Shanghai offers Chinese, Korean, Japanese and European suppliers and visitors the opportunity to meet and review kitchen equipment, refrigeration and more. Organizer CMP/Sinoexpo expects more than 1,000 exhibitors in 2008.

May 17-20, 2008
McCormick Place
Chicago, Ill., U.S.A.
Make the Kitchen Innovations pavilion your first stop when the National Restaurant Association's Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show opens in May. The North American event will bring in more than 74,000 industry visitors from 115 countries.

June 26-28, 2008
Chinese Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex
Guangzhou, China
The Guangzhou show returns in its sixth edition to serve the foodservice equipment and product needs of nearby Hong Kong, southern China and other Asian countries. The organizer expects 40,000 attendees.

Sept. 28-Oct. 1, 2008
Dusseldorf Fairgrounds
Dusseldorf, Germany
Special events and features such as the Forum for Food Service Chains are slated for this event organized by Messe Dusseldorf. Some 500 exhibitors from 22 countries will present equipment for kitchens, institutional catering and fast food.

Oct. 1-3, 2008
Centro Banamex
Mexico City, Mexico
Abastur Rest-Hotel, widely considered to be Latin America's largest foodservice show, will convene once again in October in Mexico City. Organizers Abastecedores Turisticos and Remex expect 21,000 visitors at the 2008 event.

Nov. 15-19, 2008
Paris Expo Porte de Versailles
Paris, France
With more than 102,000 visitors from 128 countries expected, Equip'Hotel will bring together European buyers and suppliers and showcase the Prix Apria Awards for technologically advanced equipment.
