Franchise development in the Middle East is advancing rapidly, according to Gulfood organizer Dubai World Trade Centre. If you're looking for a piece of the market, you'll be among more than 37,000 visits expected at this year's Dubai show.

Hamburg Exhibition Centre
Visit the two halls for Kitchen Machinery and Equipment when you attend Hamburg's March show. You'll be among 100,000 expected attendees viewing products from 1,000 exhibitors, says organizer Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH.

Shanghai New Int'l. Expo Center
Hotelex Shanghai offers Chinese, Korean, Japanese and European suppliers and visitors the opportunity to meet and review kitchen equipment, refrigeration and more. Organizer CMP/Sinoexpo expects more than 1,000 exhibitors in 2008.

Make the Kitchen Innovations pavilion your first stop when the National Restaurant Association's Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show opens in May. The North American event will bring in more than 74,000 industry visitors from 115 countries.

Chinese Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex
The Guangzhou show returns in its sixth edition to serve the foodservice equipment and product needs of nearby Hong Kong, southern China and other Asian countries. The organizer expects 40,000 attendees.

Special events and features such as the Forum for Food Service Chains are slated for this event organized by Messe Dusseldorf. Some 500 exhibitors from 22 countries will present equipment for kitchens, institutional catering and fast food.

Mexico City, Mexico
Abastur Rest-Hotel, widely considered to be Latin America's largest foodservice show, will convene once again in October in Mexico City. Organizers Abastecedores Turisticos and Remex expect 21,000 visitors at the 2008 event.

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles
With more than 102,000 visitors from 128 countries expected, Equip'Hotel will bring together European buyers and suppliers and showcase the Prix Apria Awards for technologically advanced equipment.
