The biennial equipment- and supplies-only event from the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers settles in a new city next year. Look for a new areacalled What's Hot! What's Cool!to showcase the latest innovations in equipment and supplies.

Dubai Int'l. Convention and Exhibition Centre
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Dubai, known for its rapid growth in the hospitality industry, plans to open 900 hotels by 2020 and contributes to a Middle East foodservice market worth US$10 billion, according to Gulfood organizers. Join nearly 40,000 attendees expected to visit the '09 Gulfood event.

Hamburg Exhibition Centre
More than 110,000 visitors from 20-plus countries are expected again this year for the Hamburg exhibition. As of 2007, a new hall at Internorga is dedicated solely to kitchen and catering equipment.

Shanghai New Int'l. Expo Center
As the demands of the emerging Chinese market have surged, so too has the need for foodservice equipment. Organizers say this year's Hotelex Shanghai will feature expanded exhibition space for a variety of equipment and supplies categories.

Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center
Some 29,000 visitors will descend on the biennial Hong Kong show in May to see 1,800 exhibitors. Look for the show to emphasize its dual themes from 2007: Foodservice Equipment & Hospitality Supplies and Food & Drink.

Chicago, Ill., U.S.A.
The Kitchen Innovations pavilion will continue to be a big draw for equipment pros visiting the National Restaurant Association's Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show in May. Look for visitors from 115 countries to be among the 71,000 attendees expected next year.

Mexico City, Mexico
Abastur organizers say that in 2007 more than 21,000 attendees visited the Mexico City show, which is considered one of the largest hospitality trade shows for the Latin American market.

Fiera Milano Nuovo Polo
Some 135,000 visitors and 350 international exhibitors are expected to descend on the Fiera Milano Nuovo Polo exhibition center for the biennial Host show next year. One areaequipment, systems and accessorieswill be an essential stop for attendees.
