In Memoriam: Philip Young

A veteran member of the foodservice equipment industry, Philip R. Young of Young Block Associates, Chestnut Ridge, N.Y., has died. He was 101 years old.

Young, a long-time member of the Manufacturers’ Agent Association for the Foodservice Industry, served as MAFSI president in 1979. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalind. He was the father of Lois Block (Hal) and the late Barbara Young; the grandfather of two; and great-grandfather of three. Services were March 9 in Paramus, N.J.
