One of the country’s largest Taco Bell franchisees has been acquired. K-Mac Holdings Corp. has been purchased by the Los Angeles-based equity investment firm Brentwood Associates. Its stores are located in Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

K-Mac, founded in 1964, will continue to be led by CEO Sam Fiori. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
