Electrolux To Debut New Southeast Shipping Hub

The shipping origin label might look a bit different if you’re a dealer for Electrolux Professional in the southeastern United States or an operator on the receiving end of a shipment. The company’s new regional distribution center in Fairburn, Ga., will be operational next month. The manufacturer says the location optimizes service for customers in an 11-state area and reduces current delivery time to a significant number of dealers and end-users served by the existing facility in Chattanooga, Tenn. That facility is scheduled to close in May as the Fairburn facility becomes fully operational.

The 600,000-sq.-ft. warehouse will store and ship Electrolux Professional products including commercial foodservice and laundry appliances.
