Middleby Appoints Pool To Lead TurboChef, Doyon To Head Canada

Two senior-level appointments have been announced by Middleby Corp. James K. Pool has been named president of TurboChef, the Carrollton, Texas, oven manufacturer. He’ll oversee day-to-day sales and operations. Pool succeeds Paul Lehr, who has retired. Pool joined TurboChef in 1995, and has been the company’s principal engineer for the past decade.

Karl Doyon has been appointed president of Middleby Canada, a post that brings responsibility for all of the Middleby brands in Canada. Doyon will also direct all sales in Canada and oversee customer support, service and product distribution. He will continue to serve as president for Middleby’s baking division, which includes Nu-Vu and Doyon brands. Doyon joined Middleby in 2009 when the Elgin, Ill., company acquired Doyon Equipment.
