RUBBERMAID SHIFTS, ADDS REPS TO SALES FORCE

Rubbermaid Commercial Products is going back to the future and adding manufacturers’ reps to its sales team. The company announced it is expanding its sales force to create a distinct foodservice channel sales structure.

The Winchester, Va., company has signed up 20 marketing agents to extend its reach into the foodservice market. “The new sales strategy gives RCP the opportunity to build upon current partnerships and to develop new ones—to better serve the unique needs of distributors and end-users,” said Kevin Affeldt, v.p.-sales. “Concurrently, RCP will also intensify its sales efforts in the important sanitary maintenance and industrial channels through our team of direct sales representatives.”

Jim Monnat has been appointed to head up the company’s newly formed foodservice sales management team. At this time, the agencies include: Dining Essentials, A Squier Co.; Dynamic Marketing Group; Eisner-Rose Associates; E-Kuip Marketing; Ettinger-Rosini & Associates; GMD Foodservice Marketing;  JMK Sales; KC Marketing; Kelly-Mincks; Koehler-Borden & Associates; Lehr McKeown Marketing; Lund-Iorio; Metcalfe & Associates; Mid-Atlantic Hospitality Sales; Mirkovich & Associates; PCH Reps; Premium Products Group; ProQuip Foodservice Equipment & Supplies; Select Marketing; and Venture Cornerstone Sales.
