HATCO APPOINTS DEALER SALES, BIZ DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS

Two major appointments have been announced at Hatco Corp. Mark Pumphret will join the Milwaukee manufacturer as dealer sales manager on Dec. 1, with responsibility for furthering Hatco’s sales efforts within the dealer community. He will work closely with the firm’s domestic sales team and rep community, and will call on dealers, end-users and consultants. Pumphret brings more than two decades’ experience to Hatco. A former chef, he most recently led sales and marketing efforts for Blodgett Combi. Pumphret will be based in Boston. He begins the job after a summer sabbatical with his family, according to the announcement by Mike Whiteley, Hatco’s v.p.-sales and marketing.

Next month, Steve Everett Jr. will join Hatco as business development manager, a post that includes responsibility for developing product line strategies and new product development opportunities. He also will work closely with domestic and international sales relative to Hatco’s chain sales efforts. Everett’s background in sales, marketing and product management includes experience with many Manitowoc brands, including Frymaster, Lincoln, Merco and most recently, Merrychef. He began his career at Dormont.
