Webb Design, the Tustin, Calif., foodservice design firm, has formed a strategic alliance with San Diego-based DM&A Inc., the largest healthcare foodservice consulting firm in North America. The alliance, in a company known as DM&A/Webb Design, will see the two companies collaborating as one team on healthcare and educational foodservice design projects.
A new website, www.dmawebb.com, has been created to highlight the two firms’ work together. The two companies are currently collaborating on 15 hospital design projects.
“We have had to fix too many hospital design projects that originally failed to meet goals and objectives of the hospital, often because they were unable to provide best practice solutions for various operational components, such as room service,” said Bill Klein, CEO-DM&A. “By combining highly experienced operational consultants with experienced and successful design consultants, we have already seen that the overall results will be superior to some of what the industry has experienced in the past.”
DM&A, formerly Don Miller & Associates, has eleven satellite offices across the country in addition to its California headquarters. Webb Design, founded by Jim Webb, opened branch offices in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Las Vegas earlier this year.
