Avtec, Randell Receive Chain Awards

Two of Unified Brands’ four divisions received the 2010 Pizza Hut Equipment Supplier of the Year Star Award last month. Avtec was recognized as a Star Award recipient for “outstanding energy efficiency results in fryer and oven hoods.”  Randell received kudos from Pizza Hut’s R&D Group, which cited it for “hard work and determination (that) gave us a great pizza make-table solution for our smaller footprint restaurants in a very tight timeline.” Pizza Hut is part of Yum! Brands.

Randell also received honors from another chain. The company was presented with the 2010 Teamwork Award in June at Domino’s Supply Partner Summit. Randell has worked with the pizza chain for more than a decade. Last year it developed a new refrigerated make-table and warranty program that helped the chain grow its international business.
