ACE MART HONORS TOP REPS

Texas-based Ace Mart Restaurant Supply toasted its top sales representatives during the Southwest Foodservice Expo June 24-25 in Dallas. In addition to honoring its factory reps, the San Antonio dealership debuted a new award for Independent Rep of the Year. Mark Lemons & Associates’ Tony Dettling, Steve Dumar, Doris Dettling and Mark Lemons received the award.

The award for Factory Reps of the Year (Smallwares) went to David McDonald and Jim Greyson with The Vollrath Co., a four-time winner of the award.  Lee Elliott and Randy Bates from True Mfg. received Factory Reps of the Year (Equipment) honors; it marks True’s fifth win.

The annual awards were selected by the dealer’s 14 Ace Mart Superstores, as well as its web store, designers and corporate buyers. Paul Gustafson, president of the family-owned company, said, “We realize that independent reps may not have the resources to promote their products like the factory reps and so we need to recognize and thank them for their hard work, diligence, dedication and availability to Ace Mart and its customers over the past year. These representatives helped Ace Mart achieve its company goals during another difficult year, and for that, Ace Mart is very, very thankful and appreciative.”
