Dairy Queen will open 15 stores in Guatemala by 2015. Franchisee Grupo Buen Rollo will open the first kiosk in Guatemala City in October. A second in-line store will open by the end of the year. With 13 million citizens, Guatemala has Central America’s largest population; DQ already has 11 locations in Panama. Minneapolis-based DQ has more than 5,900 locations, including 856 in 16 international markets.
