SOCAL GAS HOSTS FOOD SAFETY, COMBI SEMINARS

October will see events focusing on combi cooking and boosting profits through energy efficiency, but a food safety seminar is up first on the educational agenda at Southern California Gas Company’s Food Service Equipment Center in Downey, Calif.

SoCal’s three-hour seminar on Sept. 27 will provide the latest food safety updates pertaining to foodservice operations, including those related to vacuumed-packed fresh food products and HACCP programs for controlling food safety in the retail environment, and demonstrations of time and temperature controls. Keynote speaker Mas Hori is a three-decade veteran of food inspections. There is no fee for the seminar. More details on this event and the Oct. 12 combi cooking and Oct. 25 energy efficiency seminars are here.
