Foodservice Equipment Reports

NEW APPOINTMENTS AROUND THE INDUSTRY:

  • ACP Inc. has promoted Mary Potter, previously v.p.-marketing, to the office of v.p.-marketing and business development. Al Brown, director of field service, and his team will report to her. In her new post, Potter will coordinate marketing, field service, logistics and sales activities to develop business opportunities globally. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa, high-speed oven maker also announced two new rep groups:  Swanson-Girard & Associates, covering the Carolinas; and Pioneer Marketing, covering Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
  •  A.J. Antunes & Co. has promoted Daniel Schmidt to business development manager-Vizion Products. He’ll oversee business relationships with current and potential customers, design and recommend sales programs, set up distribution, and serve as a liaison between Antunes and its customers. Schmidt previously managed the selection and training of distributors for Roundup foodservice equipment and Vizion water treatment technologies in the Middle East and India.
  • Meiko USA has appointed David Ciampoli to the office of v.p.-sales and marketing. He’ll oversee North American sales and marketing teams for the manufacturer. Ciampoli, a 28-year veteran of the E&S industry, joins Meiko after a decade at Unified Brands, most recently as national sales director. He will be based at Meiko’s LaVergne, Tenn., headquarters, near Nashville. Its parent company is based in Offenburg, Germany.
  • SPG Int’l. has named James Nelson to the office of v.p.-business development, foodservice and retail. Nelson will be responsible for the dealer/distributor segments in foodservice, retail and supermarket markets. The appointment to the newly created post marks Nelson’s return to SPG; he most recently served as president of Accent Industries. Nelson will report to Steve Darnell, president and CEO of the Atlanta-based maker of storage products.
  • U.S. Cooler has named Mike Patton as regional sales manager for its south central territory encompassing New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Patton joins the Arlington, Texas, company with more than 17 years of experience in commercial foodservice equipment and design work in the c-store and grocery industry.
