FEDA READIES FOR A BUSY MARCH: CONVENTION AND UID

Head over to the Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association’s website and get the full details on the association’s two biggest events in the new year.

You can register for the 2012 University of Industrial Distribution, March 5-8, at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Conference Center in Indianapolis. This distribution-management education program is presented by leading distribution-industry trade associations, including FEDA, and delivered by content experts and nationally recognized university faculty members. The program is now in its 17th year.

Later that month comes FEDA’s 2012 Convention, March 28-April 1, at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz. The convention plays a key role in helping dealers build important relationships with E&S industry leaders and providing practical knowledge from peers and leading business speakers. Next year’s program will take a topical and timely look at “A Culture of Profitability: The Mindset and Tools to Help You Build and Grow a More Profitable Business.”

Seminars and educational sessions have been designed to provide attendees with ideas that will help them create such a culture within their organizations.

Our next FER Dealer Report will take a closer look at theconvention’s program.
