MAFSI Meeting Includes Member Honors, New Officers

More than 400 members and affiliates of the Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry convened in Palm Springs, Calif., last month for the group’s annual conference. Among the news emerging from the meeting are new officers and top awards. New officers, beginning their terms immediately, are:

• President: Danny Collis, Collis Group, Richmond Hills, Ontario, Canada
• Vice President: Mike McGuire, Zink Foodservice Group dba Zink Marketing & Top O’ The Table, Westerville, Ohio
• Treasurer: Joe Ferri, Pecinka Ferri Associates, Little Falls, N.J.

Tom Johnson, Johnson Commercial Agents, Mendota Heights, Minn., received the Tony Award. The Pacesetter Award was presented to Ed Pecinka, Pecinka Ferri Associates, Little Falls, N.J.; Kim Woolsey, Waukesha, Wis.; and David Wyllie, Wyllie Marketing, Weymouth, Mass.
