Dispensing Dynamics Acquires San Jamar

San Jamar-Chef Revival has a new corporate parent. The Elkhorn, Wis., manufacturer’s parent company, The Colman Group, has been acquired by Dispensing Dynamics Int’l.

DDI, headquartered in City of Industry, Calif., manufactures napkin, towel and soap dispensers for away-from-home paper companies. It also owns Perrin Mfg. and Global Plastics.

San Jamar-Chef Revival makes a wide range of products in five categories—bar and food management, dispensing, food safety tools, hand safety, and foodservice apparel. It also has facilities in Canada, Mexico and Europe.

With the change in ownership, customer sales and marketing will operate separately; DDI will develop OEM company business and SJCR will build commercial distribution.

“We are excited about the benefits we will bring to our customers with this acquisition,” says DDI Chairman/CEO Dean deBuhr. “There are new product innovations and technologies in the pipeline from both companies that we will be able to bring to the market faster. We are committed to continue to invest in our customers’ business growth.”
