Del Taco Plans 40 Houston Stores

Houston is ground zero for Del Taco’s Texas expansion plans. The nation’s No. 2 Mexican quick-serve chain has announced plans to open more than 40 restaurants in the Houston market. The first unit opened in late March.

The Lake Forest, Calif., chain, which has more than 530 restaurants in 17 states, opened seven locations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area during the past 18 months.

Most Del Taco units are open 24 hours.
