NSF Appoints New V.P. For Global Safety

NSF Int’l. has appointed Tom Chestnut as v.p. of its Global Food Safety and Quality Division. Chestnut has more than 25 years of experience in food safety. He most recently served as NSF’s v.p.- Supply Chain Food Safety, helping companies throughout the global supply chain strengthen their quality assurance and food-safety programs through auditing, testing and certification to global food-safety standards. Prior to joining NSF, Chestnut spent 20 years with Darden as v.p.-Total Quality and int’l. director of Product Safety and Quality; he led the implementation of food-safety protocols with suppliers throughout Asia, Mexico and Latin America.
