Strategic Equipment Appoints Senior Sales V.P.

Strategic Equipment and Supply Corp., one of the industry’s largest E&S distributors, has hired Rich Schuttenhelm as senior v.p. of sales. Schuttenhelm brings 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry to Strategic.

"Rich’s broad experience with both foodservice and retail customers will be a valuable asset in Strategic’s efforts to grow business on both the regional and national level," said Marty Monnat, CEO of the Irving, Texas-based company.

Prior to joining Strategic, Schuttenhelm was v.p./managing director of Crossmark Co. He also served 14 years in various sales positions with the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, including vice president of national accounts. Strategic Equipment reported verified sales of $225.7 million in 2011 and was ranked No. 4 in FER’s 2012 Top Dealer Report. It specializes in foodservice equipment, supply, and design solutions.
