CFSP Online Overview Seminar Up and Running!

Aspiring Certified Food Service Professionals who need a study group, take note.

Although the online CFSP overview course introduced earlier this year by the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers has proven a popular way for interested applicants to take the course at an individualized pace from their home or office, a group study option is available in Chicago in August.

An on-site Equipment & Supplies Overview seminar is slated for Wednesday, Aug. 8, at NAFEM headquarters. The seminar is scheduled from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Applicants can return the next day to take the exam. Passing the CFSP exam is still a requirement to certification, and the test is administered manually.

NAFEM members can take the test at NAFEM headquarters anytime they are in Chicago; any member of the NAFEM staff can proctor the exam. Those preferring to take the test in their hometowns can use a local proctor. The NAFEM website has more information, or contact Vonceil Roberts at 312/821-0216 or at robertsv@nafem.org.
