Bauscher, WMF Join Forces In U.S.

In an agreement that kicked in May 1, Bauscher USA and WMF Americas have formed an alliance in sales and marketing and customer service for the U.S. market. The collaboration brings together four brands of porcelain, cutlery, tableware and buffetware in an alliance focusing on hotel, casino, restaurant, private club and healthcare clients. Programs with key accounts and dealers are streamlined.

The four tabletop brands—Bauscher, Tafelstern, WMF and Hepp—share category expertise and German roots.

Bauscher USA, a subsidiary of BHS tabletop AG, markets two of the parent company’s hotel and restaurant porcelain brands: Bauscher and Tafelstern. Bauscher is Europe’s largest manufacturer of hotel porcelain.

WMF Americas, a subsidiary of WMF group, markets the parent company’s brands of cutlery and hollow-, buffet- and glassware as well as serviceware. Hepp produces a diverse assortment of tableware and serving equipment. WMF has manufactured products covering all aspects of hospitality since 1853.
