Corner Bakery Cafe Expanding To The Pacific Northwest

Corner Bakery Café is working full steam ahead on its plan to more than double its footprint over the next four years. The Dallas chain, which has signed 22 franchise agreements for more than 279 new restaurants, just announced a deal for 18 stores in the Seattle area.

An agreement with Northwest Bakery Cafe, a group of restaurant operators that owns 95 Jack in the Box locations, will bring 18 franchised Corner Bakery units to the Seattle area during the next seven years. Two locations are expected to open in the next 24 months. The fast-casual chain currently is reviewing sites in Bellevue and Seattle.

This is the sixth new development agreement, totaling 81 new restaurants, signed so far this year. Corner Bakery currently operates 140 restaurants in 15 states.
