Personnel Moves Strengthen Sales Force At Kitchen Brains

There’s quite a bit of news from Kitchen Brains, the Stratford, Conn., entity that combines SCK Direct and Food Automation-Service Techniques (FAST). The company, which creates interconnected kitchen technology, including timers and process-control products, has announced five personnel changes.

Reza Khani, who rejoined the company last spring, has been promoted to general manager and senior v.p. In addition to his operations and engineering responsibilities, Khani is now in charge of Kitchen Brains’ domestic sales force as well as its associated sales and marketing functions.

Chris Barlow assumes the post of southeast retail sales director; a veteran of three decades in the foodservice industry, Barlow has held sales and management positions at companies including Hobart, Frymaster, Blodgett/Middleby, FAST, and Unified Brands.

Nicole Sokol, a veteran of NCR’s Yum! Brands account, joins Kitchen Brains as northeast regional sales manager. She will manage hospitality, grocery and c-store accounts.

Bill Slavik has been named OEM sale director; he brings more than 20 years of electronic controls experience to the post. Brieanne Gahlinger, who brings four years of experience with KFC Int’l., is Kitchen Brains’ new director-QPM support and market development.
