Curtis Restaurant Equipment Wins Home State Honors

Curtis Restaurant Equipment, Oregon’s largest foodservice equipment dealer, has won 2012 Vendor of the Year honors from the Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association.

“This award recognizes the exemplary service and professionalism that set the high standards for the entire industry to achieve,” stated Steve McCord, ORLA president and CEO. “Curtis has shown dedicated service to the association’s members and a true commitment to the prosperity of the hospitality industry.”

Curtis was founded in 1963 by Bob and Eileen Curtis. Their sons, Dan (president) and Mike (chairman) have grown the company into the state’s biggest E&S dealership. In addition to its Springfield headquarters, it has branches in Beaverton, Bend and Medford. Curtis reported sales of $19.4 million in 2011 and ranked 28th on FER’s 2012 Top Dealers Report.

The award was presented in September at ORLA’s national convention.
