San Jamar Reasserts One Brand Identity

It’s back to the future for San Jamar. The maker of foodservice, janitorial and sanitation products, supplies and clothing is now carrying all of its brands and products under its original name: San Jamar. The company had been known as San Jamar-Chef Revival since its acquisition of Chef Revival in 2006.

“This move to position Chef Revival as a flagship brand within apparel for San Jamar is consistent with the company’s overall strategy to develop a broad global portfolio of valued brands within foodservice and jan-san markets under its traditional San Jamar umbrella identity,” said company Pres. Bill Roehrick.

The Elkhorn, Wis., company also debuted a new logo, replacing its former rainbow and font style. In addition to chef apparel, San Jamar offers towel, cup and napkin dispensers, and supplies such as cutting boards and oven mitts. San Jamar’s parent company, The Colman Group, was been acquired by Dispensing Dynamics Int’l. earlier this year. DDI, headquartered in City of Industry, Calif., manufactures napkin, towel and soap dispensers for away-from-home paper companies. It also owns Perrin Mfg. and Global Plastics.
