NRA Seeks Nominations For Operator Innovations

The time has come again to recognize commercial and noncommercial operators who drive innovation and excellence in the restaurant industry.

The National Restaurant Association is accepting nominations for its 2013 Operator Innovations Awards, which celebrate “operators who are transforming the industry with extraordinary creativity and commitment to innovation and excellence in execution.”

Self-nominations are welcomed. The NRA also invites submissions from individuals throughout the industry—including manufacturers, dealers and distributors, and other foodservice industry professionals—who have seen first-hand how restaurants are driving progress, and fueling customer satisfaction and profitability.

Nominations will be accepted online at Restaurant.org/Show/OIAwards through Feb. 4, 2013.

The awards, selected by an independent panel of experts representing all segments of the industry, are presented in five categories: Food Safety, Health & Nutrition, Menu Development, Sustainability, and Technology. Winners will be announced at the 2013 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, May 18-21 in Chicago.
