E&S Personnel Moves:

Bon Chef has appointed Jeremy Mottola as its new v.p. of U.S. sales. Prior to his promotion, Mottola was growing market share for the Lafayette, N.J., company as v.p.-eastern regional and international sales. In his new post, he will oversee all sales of Bon Chef’s line of flatware, servingware, buffet equipment and custom millwork products in the United States.

The Homer Laughlin China Co. has tapped a well-known name in the tabletop segment to lead its sales team. Gene Williamson has been named v.p. sales-foodservice division for the HLC Inc. family of companies, including Homer Laughlin China, Hall China and the Kenilworth Trading Co., the exclusive distributor of RAK Ceramics in the U.S. HLC Inc. is headquartered in Newell, W.Va. Williamson joins HLC from Oneida, where he most recently served as a key account manager. Prior to that, he managed The Williamson Group, a manufacturer’s rep firm specializing in tabletop for restaurants and hotels.

Scotsman Ice Systems has appointed Chris Salatino as v.p.-engineering. Salatino rejoins the Vernon Hills, Ill., firm from Sears Holding Corp., where he was product development group engineering manager. In addition to an earlier post at Scotsman, Salatino’s previous 11 years of foodservice industry experience includes engineering roles at McDonald’s Corp. and Pepsi Cola Co.

Kevin Yates, most recently director of sales at Win-Holt Equipment Group, has been promoted to v.p. of sales at the company. Yates will be responsible for the sales team, including regional sales reps, and execute sales initiatives to expand sales and market share. Yates will report directly to Dominick Scarfogliero, president/COO of the Syosset, N.Y., maker of proofing, shelving, storage and smallwares products.
