Manitowoc Names Company Vet Robert Hund To Helm Foodservice

Robert Hund has been named president of Manitowoc Foodservice, effective August 1. He will report to Glen Tellock, chairman and CEO of The Manitowoc Co.

Hund is a veteran of Manitowoc’s Crane division. He most recently served as an executive v.p.in the Crane Care division, overseeing a global network of service and distribution centers for eight crane product lines across 19 countries. Prior to that post, Hund was v.p.-worldwide marketing and product management for Manitowoc Cranes. Prior to joining the Manitowoc, Wis.-based company, Hund served in key leadership positions in the United States, Europe and Asia for Caterpillar Inc.

“Bob has been instrumental in helping to drive our recent financial success and operational improvements within the Crane segment,” commented Tellock. “He brings demonstrated global leadership to the Manitowoc Foodservice organization, in addition to his broad-based business and managerial expertise. We are thrilled to welcome Bob to his new position, and we are confident that his contribution to the business will be a seamlessly transferrable and valuable asset within the Manitowoc enterprise.” Manitowoc Foodservice has 24 equipment brands.
