Tossed Inks 30-Store Franchise Deal For Middle East, North Africa

Tossed, the fast-casual soup and salad chain, has signed its first international expansion deal. The 30-unit master development agreement with Al Sayegh Brothers Trading Co., a multi-national conglomerate based in the United Arab Emirates, includes future stores in the Middle East and North Africa. The Al Sayegh team, which plans to feature the company’s new eco-friendly prototype design, anticipates opening its first restaurant within the UAE in 2014.

The Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., chain has outlets in Boca Raton, Fla.; Boston; Los Angeles; Houston; and Morrisville, N.C. Stores are due to open in cities including Chicago and Washington, D.C.
