Unified Brands Promotes Campise To National Sales Post, Plans Corporate Move To Atlanta

Big news keeps rolling out at Unified Brands.

George Campise has been promoted by the company to the newly created position of national sales director. Campise, who had been eastern sales director, now will be responsible for overseeing the development and sales of Unified’s core business within the rep and dealer communities for the Groen, Randell, Avtec, A la Cart and Power Soak product lines. He also will manage Unified’s regional sales directors and contract management segment. A 35-year veteran of the foodservice industry, Campise has held a number of sales management and leadership roles with Unified Brands and Avtec.

The promotion comes days after Unified Brands announced it would relocate its corporate headquarters from Jackson, Miss., to metro-Atlanta. The new offices will serve as a centralized headquarters housing Unified’s executive leadership team, and will include a product demonstration center and training facility. The move is slated to take place by the end of the second quarter in 2014.

“Our growth opportunities are increasing in size, geography and segment, which require more time by our leadership team. This move better positions us to manage these opportunities on a global scale,” said Bill Strenglis, president of Unified Brands. “The additional product demonstration center in a more convenient location for our customers and channel partners will also help facilitate our growth.”

Unified Brands is an operating company within the Engineered Systems segment of Dover Corp.; it also has manufacturing facilities in Weidman, Mich., and Pryor, Okla.
