NAFEM ’13: Time To Network

Pack up your plane tickets, comfortable shoes, Parrothead gear, FER Exhibitor Pocket Guide, and notes on who to see and what to see at The NAFEM Show. It’s only a week away.

The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers’ biennial show, Feb. 7-9, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Fla., will unroll the welcome mat to approximately 20,000 foodservice professionals visiting more than 500 exhibitors.

Once again, the foodservice industry’s biggest equipment and supplies show will include a new product gallery, topical educational sessions and networking opportunities.

The What’s Hot! What’s Cool! Gallery will put the spotlight on more than 125 new products notable for labor savings, sanitation, energy efficiency, food safety, and life-cycle costs. Educational opportunities include a new seminar on LEED Basics for Foodservice, and networking occasions abound, on and off the floor.

On the show’s eve, Wednesday, Feb. 6, the Global Networking Event jumpstarts meet-ups between exhibitors and international attendees at the Hilton Orlando. A reception during the following day’s show hours is another prime networking opportunity. Closing out The NAFEM Show on Feb. 9 is the All-Industry Celebration featuring live musical entertainment from artist Jimmy Buffett. Tickets for all of these events can be purchased when registering for the show.
