FEDA Scholarships Available For CFSP, ServSafe Training

The Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association’s Education Foundation is offering a limited number of scholarships for Certified Foodservice Professional and ServSafe certifications. The widely recognized designations are marks of professionalism, and FEDA’s scholarship program is aimed at encouraging dealers to pursue earning them.

Dealership employees who earn the CFSP or ServSafe certification in 2013 are eligible to apply for the FEDA Education Foundation scholarships. The CFSP scholarship will provide $200 and the ServSafe scholarship $100 toward reimbursement of fees for certifications earned in ’13. All checks will be made out to the applicant’s employing organization. FEDA members can access the scholarship applications by clicking on FEDA Education Programs section in the Members-Only section of the website.

The FEDA Education Foundation also will continue to offer scholarships to the University of Industrial Distribution program; information on the 2014 UID program will be sent this fall. Questions on the scholarships or program should be directed to the FEDA office at 800/677-9605.”””
