Myers Restaurant Supply Goes Bicoastal

Northern California-based Myers Restaurant Supply LLC has positioned itself as a national force in E&S with its new division: Myers Restaurant Supply—East. The new branch, based in Marlton, N.J., will service the entire Eastern Seaboard but boast a strong focus on the New York metro area. The Santa Rosa, Calif., full-service dealer has teamed up with E&S industry veterans John Ognibene and Shawn Kelly to expand operations from coast to coast. The two new project executives bring strengths in large-scale projects and project execution, respectively, to the new enterprise.

“The core of our business is contract projects, chains and multiunits; our expansion into the East Coast with Ognibene, Kelly and their team is a perfect fit for our rapidly growing business,” said Myers CEO Charlie Fusari. “Further, we feel very good about the timing of this strategic move, the economy is improving and our industry landscape is changing. We are well-positioned for continued growth well into the future.”

“This will be a smooth and seamless transition that will allow us to utilize our strengths as we expand into the East Coast market with an immediate plan to build our business with high-end independent, chain and multiunit restaurants along with other large foodservice operators,” stated company Pres. Rob Myers.

Myers, founded in 1951, opened a Southern California sales office last year.
