Zink Expands Coverage In Illinois and Wisconsin

It’s homecoming week at Zink Foodservice Group. On Dec. 1, Zink Marketing officially became the Manitowoc Foodservice representatives in Illinois and Wisconsin, and it welcomed back R&B Marketing to cover those states.

The reunion means that R&B will no longer represent Alto-Shaam, Beverage Air, CMA, Carroll, Kairak, Lang, Leer, LTI and Southbend. Instead, they’ll represent Manitowoc Foodservice brands, including Cleveland, Convotherm, Frymaster/Dean, Delfield, Garland/US Range, Kolpak, Kysor, Lincoln, Merco, Merrychef and RDI Systems. The new Zink Marketing portfolio also will expand to add Anthony, Caddy, Elkay, Focus, Globe, New Age, Panasonic, RPI and Walsh Simmons.

R&B, headed by managing partners Bill Beshilas and Tim Riordan, was with Zink from 2001-09. “We are bringing our entire team over to the Zink Foodservice Group,” stated Beshilas. “With this new line package, expanded team, improved technology and deeper resources, we are well-positioned to be a more valuable asset to our marketplace.”

“We are delighted to have Tim, Bill and their outstanding staff rejoin the Zink family. Along with our smallwares division, Top O’ The Table, they will serve as the nucleus of the team we are building,” said Jim Zink, managing partner. The Westerville, Ohio, company plans to combine the group into a new office, test kitchen and culinary center that will be completed next spring.

Additionally, Zink has added Don Mason and Kelly Kavanaugh to the sales team. Kavanaugh represented Manitowoc Foodservice for more than six years and was named Rep of the Year by Kolpak in 2012. Mason has covered parts of the Wisconsin market for 33 years and has been directly involved with the core Manitowoc brands for 21 years. “Don will be a key component for us as we develop our organization in Wisconsin. His territory and product knowledge speaks for itself. We are thrilled to have him join our team,” Zink stated.
