Universal Fryer Guard is a Fire Guard

The FMP Universal Fryer Splash Guard is a great way to add protection to your fryer and your kitchen. According to the National Fire Prevention Association’s code 96, deep fryers must be located 16 in. from an open-flame cooking source to prevent grease fires. If that is not possible, an 8-in. protective barrier can be utilized. The FMP Splash Guard is universal and works on the right or left side of most fryers. Other brand splash guards require drilling the fryer and bolting the guard on. The FMP Splash Guard’s built in clamps allow it to simply slide on and off, making it not only easier to install, but easier to clean. The Splash Guard measures 20 1/2-in. long by 17 3/4-in. wide and is constructed of 18-gauge stainless steel.
