Breville To Distribute PolyScience’ Sous Vide Products

Australia’s Breville Pty Ltd. and Chicago’s PolyScience have inked a strategic alliance in which Breville will acquire the distribution rights for current and future PolyScience Culinary products in both the consumer and commercial channels.

PolyScience, originally known for its scientific temperature control equipment, makes foodservice products, including sous vide immersion circulators, vacuum packaging systems, anti-griddle chilling plates and flavor-enhancing products, such as infusers, rotary vacuum evaporators and ultra-sonic emulsifiers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Breville is a subsidiary of Breville Group Ltd., a Sydney-based maker of home kitchen appliances sold in more than 50 countries.
