Koontz Joins Mobile Fixture

Industry veteran Danny Koontz, who spent 36 years with Ruby Tuesday, has moved from the operations side of the foodservice business and joined Mobile Fixture, an Alabama-based E&S dealer. As the firm’s new v.p.-business development, Koontz will work out of the 87-year-old company’s Knoxville, Tenn., branch. Mobile, which had 2013 sales of more than $39 million, also has locations in Florida and Georgia.

“I am proud and excited to have Danny join our Mobile Fixture family,” said CEO Walne Donald. “Danny, along with Sandra Willis, also formerly with Ruby Tuesday, brings over 60 years of combined experience to our company. His reputation and ability to get things done, along with his experience and knowledge of all facets of the restaurant industry, will be a valuable asset in helping to grow Mobile Fixture and also positioning us well for the future.”
