In Memoriam: Rep Ken High

Longtime MAFSI member, Ken High, founder of High Sabatino Associates in Jessup, Md., died Aug. 12. He was 80.

High entered the foodservice equipment industry in 1959, when he acquired the Lewis J. Andersen Co., a manufacturers’ rep firm. Eight years later, that company became High Sabatino Associates, then High Sabatino Huber, and eventually High Sabatino Associates, as it is known today. High built his company through a kind manner and endearing personality and led the firm until his retirement in 2007.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Patricia. Services have been held. Online tributes may be left at hardestyfuneralhome. Donations may be made to either the Severn Run (Md.) Evangelical Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.”””
