CFESA Hosts Fall Meeting Next Month

The Commercial Food Equipment Service Association will gather in Savannah, Ga., next month for its fall meeting. The meeting, Oct. 18-20, at the Westin Savannah Harbor, will include a full slate of board and committee meetings and educational workshops.

Among the topics are healthcare reform; water quality, manufacturer requirements and their impact on equipment; tools for measuring a manufacturer’s performance; and the repercussions of extended warranties. An exploration of the ins and outs of manufacturer contracts—and how to negotiate them—will be conducted by Jean Choquette of Key Food Equipment, and Dave Hettinger of Hatco. An industry forecast, based on the CFESA Profit Survey and led by Wes Tyler of North American Commercial Parts & Service and Doug Fryett of Fryett Consulting Group, will close out the workshops.

More details on the October meeting, as well as CFESA’s spring meeting, Feb. 7-9 in Orlando, are at cfesa.com.”””
