Bargreen Ellingson Acquires Wyoming Dealer

Bargreen Ellingson, one of the country’s biggest E&S distributors, has acquired Knapp Supply & Equipment Co., a restaurant and janitorial supplier based in Casper, Wyo. The acquisition gives the Tacoma, Wash., firm its 22nd facility as well as a presence in its ninth state. Bargreen Ellingson reported 2012 sales of nearly $158.3 million, ranking it eighth on FER’s Top Dealer rankings.

Company Pres. David Ellingson stated, “This acquisition allows us to focus on the Wyoming market, but more importantly, the culture is a great fit. We are really excited to have the employees of Knapp Supply as part of our team.”

Knapp, founded in 1947 by Keith Knapp, offers a complete line of restaurant and bar equipment and specializes in janitorial supplies. Ron Salveson is the company’s president.

Knapp will assume the Bargreen Ellingson name within a few months.
