CPG Announces New Smallwares Buying Group

The Channel Partners Group has created a new buying group aimed at the purchase and distribution of smallwares and other accessories.

CPG made the announcement at its annual Dealer Exchange Conference. The new entity was explained by CPG Pres. David Stafford Sr. "CPG was established to support and drive heavy equipment sales working closely with vendors to provide the best products and services to the foodservice equipment industry. It has become apparent that we needed a medium to expand member capabilities in other categories including small wares and accessories."

While CPG will continue to focus on heavy equipment under its present structure, the XYZ Group will operate under a separate structure with non-CPG vendors. Mobile Fixture Pres./Owner Walne Donald will serve as president of the XYZ Group.

"We have a great business model with CPG," said Donald. "We can now bring that great service to both vendors and our end-user customers in the small wares and accessories product lines. We have a great group of companies. With these added capabilities it also opens us up to expansion of both member companies and vendors."

The Channel Partners Group is a member-company buying group comprised of twelve of the top foodservice equipment dealerships in the country.
