In Memoriam: Robert Perlick

Robert Perlick, the former president of Perlick Corp., died Nov. 29 at age 92.

After serving in U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS New York, Perlick joined his father and two uncles at the family business established as R. Perlick Brassworks in Milwaukee in 1917. He spent his career at Perlick Corp., helping grow it from a small manufacturer of equipment for the beverage and foodservice industry. A trained engineer, he was an entrepreneur who grew the business into a global company, and became president of Perlick.

In addition to guiding the company, he was active in foodservice industry associations, and was a Master Mason. Survivors include two daughters, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:30, Sat., Dec. 13 at the Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church, 1529 Wauwatosa Ave., Wauwatosa, Wis.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name are welcome to the Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church and North Shore Congregational Church. Or contributions may be made to another charity in his name.
