FEDA Education Foundation Names UID Scholarship Recipients

The FEDA Education Foundation has awarded 12 scholarships for the University of Innovative

Distribution program next year. This year’s recipients are:

  • Mike Slapak, Central Restaurant Products, Indianapolis.
  • Lauren Lowery, Dixie Store Fixtures & Sales Co., Birmingham, Ala.
  • Brian Ringelheim, Globe Equipment Co., Bridgeport, Conn.
  • Elaine Lopez, Mission Restaurant Supply, San Antonio.
  • Andrew Beauchamp, Singer Equipment Co., Elverson, Pa.
  • Ellen Butler, R.W. Smith & Co., San Diego.
  • Keri Llewellyn, TriMark SS Kemp, Cleveland.
  • Mike Smith, The Wasserstrom Co., Columbus, Ohio.

The UID program, slated for March 8-11, 2015, at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, provides educational experience for professional distribution management personnel. The course content, provided by a team of experts in the distribution discipline, ranges from sales planning, negotiating skills, leadership, delegation and inventory management to branch management.
