Southbend Ovens Have The NRG To Go The Distance

Now offered standard with the Marathoner Gold convection ovens and as an option for SilverStar units, the NRG system saves 35% to 50% in operational cost by use of a patented damping system. When the oven stops calling for heat, the flue is dampened, retaining heat inside the oven cavity instead of pumping it out of the flue as in other convection ovens. Additionally, the dampening creates a varied airflow pattern when engaged, which constantly changes the air flow in the cavity for a more even bake finish. All Southbend standard sized convection ovens with the NRG system are Energy Star compliant.
