Foodex Saudi 2014 Promises Foodservice Insights

Although the 100 exhibitors at Foodex Saudi 2014 skew heavily toward food rather than equipment and supplies, there might be no better place to learn about the Middle East foodservice market and halal dietary needs than at this Nov. 17-20 show.

More than 15,000 visitors and buyers from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Coast countries are expected to attend the show, held at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, under the patronage of the kingdom’s Ministry of Agriculture.

“Participation at Foodex Saudi 2013 in Jeddah opened a door to the unknown Saudi Arabian food world, not an easy one, but with many opportunities,” said one Italian exhibitor at last year’s show.
